They knew they shouldn't do it. But that fruit just looked too darn good. One bite and the whole place went to hell. Things are starting to go terribly wrong. God will have to kick these bad children out of Eden. Adam and Eve have just eaten from the tree of life. In the painting we see Eve as she takes a bite out of the apple which is symbolized in the painting as a penis. Semen (life) begins to shoot from the penis. Three angels appear (looking very distressed as they fly around). One of them hovers over the word "Education". This symbolizes the hard lesson the couple are about to learn for having disobeying God. Adam stands at the center of the work looking very confused as the snake (Devil) detaches Adam's penis, which symbolizes the new consciousness which overtakes the couple and reattaches (transforms) himself into Adam's penis, in order to hide from the wrath of God. The snake (Devil) then wraps itself completely around the entire canvas and becomes a boat at the right side of the painting. The boat is lost at sea and holds a confused frightened mankind. God appears in the painting as the largest figure. We see him standing about a palm tree with an angel on his shoulder. The perfection of Eden has been shattered (the multi colored shapes). Paradise is lost all around the couple.
